Elections 19: Grievance Form

Beds SU has a legal responsibility to hold free, fair and transparent elections under the Education Act 1994. In order to meet this obligation, Beds SU puts in place rules to uphold the guiding principles of our elections: these can be found here: ELECTION RULES.

These rules are core to our legal compliance and as such any breach of these rules will result in candidate sanctions and/or disqualification. Any member of Beds SU may lodge a grievance if they believe these principles to be undermined by the action of a candidate/their supporters.

PLEASE NOTE: the Elections Committee and Returning Officers reserve the right to take action against malicious or vexatious grievances e.g. if an allegation is found to have been submitted to try and harm another Union member or cause undue frustration or worry. This may result in removal of your status as a Students' Union member or student of University of Bedfordshire.
